Course Description

Dart is the language behind Flutter: Google's UI toolkit for building beautiful andfastnative apps for iOS, Android, web, and beyond. According to GitHub, Dart was the fastest-growing programming language in 2019, making it a very valuable language to learn. It is a Google-developed, platform dependent, open-source, and object-oriented programming language that comprise a range of useful features for a software developer. Such as a collection of design features, dynamic typing, interface, classes, and optional typing. After completing course you can create and publish open-source projects using Dart. Dart is developed for both servers and browsers.

  • Dart syntax basics: variables, data types, and operators
  • Control structures: if statements, loops (while and for)
  • Introduction to functions and modular programming
  • Assignment 1: Creating a simple program that calculates and displays results

• Week 3 Dart Language Fundamentals

  • More on functions: parameters, return values, and scope
  • Lists and collections in Dart: arrays, lists, and maps
  • String manipulation and formatting in Dart.

• Week 4

  • Working with classes and objects in Dart
  • Constructors, methods, and properties
  • Introduction to object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

• Week 5 Dart Advanced Concepts

  • Inheritance and polymorphism in Dart
  • Encapsulation and access modifiers (public, private, protected)
  • Introduction to exception handling: try, catch, and finally

• Week 6

  • Dart libraries and packages: importing and using external code
  • Enums and working with enumerated types
